Inspiration letter on Second Collection

From inspiration source to story of “eterble lifestyle”, eterble’s Creative Director Hiroko Hayama shares her thoughts on the second collection.

To begin with, let’s start with the first collection.
For the first collection, I took inspiration from Portuguese and Spanish art and mosaic tiles made by immigrants, which influenced me while I was living in New York. The elements are then used in the creation of the products.

In addition, I put on emphasis of the refinery of the solid living space, and to also have an imagery of a person who picks up our products are somewhat and “intelligent woman with a will”.

Then, to the story of second collection.

We launched the second collection on October 2023.
The collection includes more products that are designed to accompany the rich life scenes of “women with willpower”, with the essence of the “warmth”, and aimed for a beauty that is stripped down to the bare essentials, like what you see in Midcentury modern design and in architects of Le Corbusier.

We wanted to cross these elements with eterble, to propose the importance of simple but meaningful things and a lifestyle with an “idealistic reality”.

For the lineup of the second collection, in order to develop an expansive landscape, we have created products that coexist with evolution and standardization.

When developing our products, we benchmarked the pale, delicate colors of southern European ceramics. The theme colors are patterns that have a strong presence but never interfere with the space, exquisite gentle shades of green and purple, and blues like the North Atlantic Ocean at dawn.

To express the gentle yet dignified colors of these ceramics, we spun a new color of completely recycled yarn that we developed ourselves, and reborn them as cloths.

In addition, for “color matching,” which is a characteristic of the second collection, we chose Lithuanian linen fabric to pursue a more European look. These became a vivid and colorful series, inspired by the clear morning light.

I believe that the Second Collection will spice up and energize the daily lives of women who want to make the most of their time. I hope many of you will be able to enjoy them.
