ーThe importance of photography on food space styling.ー

I teach lessons on table decorating, finger foods, and table photography. My style base on simple and modern decoration. With the concept of “memorable styling,” I teach how to create a comfortable space including a table and interior design suitable for various occasions and how to create memorable photos.

ーGive some change to the table linen through seasonal  eventsー

In Japan, there are so many seasonal events. Changing the table linens according to the event will add variety and color to the daily dining table. The time spent setting the table with the faces of your guests in mind will be a rich and special. The combination of your favorite tableware and linens can be enjoyed in a number of ways.

Table linens can also be of great use in changing the atmosphere of a room. Changing wallpaper or furniture is not easy, but the tablecloth is not. The dining table occupies a large percentage of the room, so simply changing the tablecloth can make a big difference to the overall impression of the room.

Table coordination can change not only the enjoyment of the table, but also the taste and appearance of the food. By incorporating the table styling, it maximizes the atmosphere and the foood.

ーHow to choose the first table linen?ー

I normally use tablecloth, table runner, and luncheon mats. I tend to choose solid colors with no patterns, and I like the color blue and green in color. Beginners should choose plain table linens for basic use rather than those with patterns.

I recommend to start with the colors from white, beige, and gray, which are convenient for application in a variety of situations. I hope that you will enjoy coordinating your table with familiar items, gradually arranging your favorite items according to your own lifestyle, without feeling self-conscious that you have to prepare a lot of different items because you are a beginner.
